'Jamie' silk dupion Christening Gown

‘Jamie’ A charming unisex christening gown with architectural pleats and pintucking is a delight to hold. The gown is made from silk dupion and fully lined in silk. It opens down the back and buttons at the back neck for easy dressing on baby's special day. The back being open allows for Godparents to have a firm hold on baby. The short full sleeves, with ribbon and pintuck detail, are adjustable, drawn in at the base with satin bows. The adjustable feature allows the full sleeves to be easily ironed.

Pintucking adds texture to the yoke, and the skirt hemline has contrasting wide pleats and pintucks. Vintage smocking highlighted with seed beads draws the gown's full skirt onto the piped yokeline.

‘Jamie’ with it's sister gown ‘Elaine’ are frequently chosen when Fraturnal twins are being Baptised. The gowns are similar, but the slight variations make it easier for relatives to distinguish between the babies. The gown can be ordered in sizes newborn - 00.
